Stanley the spider.
On Monday Mr Banks found a BIG vagrant spider in our iPad box. We decided to call him Stanley. We kept him in a jar and had a good look at him. Yesterday we caught a fly to feed him, but he wasn't interested in the fly. At the end of the day we decided to let him go. We put him under a bush near our class. This morning when Mr Banks went to open the class door, a spider web thread hit him in the forehead! We wonder if Stanley made it!

Today in Karearea, we chose a fraction and tried to find as many ways as we can to show that fraction. We used all sorts of equipment. Tom decided he'd get some leaves and a stick to show 3/4! We are the fractions masters!
