It is great to be back with the super kids from Karearea! Even better that most are healthy!!! We are all back doing lots of learning. This term were are learning about New Zealand and what we want to learn about our country.

Karearea have had a super week celebrating Matariki, the Maori new year this week! String games hsve been especially popular. Thank you to Jazmin who shared the fun time she had with her whanau on Sunday. We hope to see you at our shared feast at 12.30 in Karearea!
A big thank you to all the parents that came to help us celebrate the opening of our class legend. I was super proud of how our kids read to you and you should be very proud if their efforts!

The weather hasn't been great lately but it was great to see the boys from Karearea out playing force em back before school. There was lots of sharing and excitement going on as well as some really big kicks!
